Shannon play all senior AIL and Munster Cup games at Thomond Park (see map on right). Most other home games by the club are played at Shannon's own grounds at Coonagh. 

 Thomond Park is situated at the north side of the city. To get there from the city centre:

* Go north across Sarsfield Bridge, continue for about a half mile and turn right onto Shelbourne Road at the next set of traffic lights (Union Cross). Turn left at the following  set of lights (Hassets Cross) and the ground is on your right.

or:

* Go north across Thomond Bridge (beside King John's Castle) and continue for about 3/4 mile to just beyond the Hasset's Cross junction. You will see the floodlights and the stand up ahead as you approach the junction.
