First match of the Season

Our ladies had a testing day in Thurles. The match was a tough encounter which became a battle of the forwards. Thurles got an unconverted try just before half time and the second half continued in the same vein as the first. It was a battle of wits for a finish and Thurles only got into Shannon’s half once to score a penalty. Shannon kept the pressure on and were unlucky to come away from the match without a score. The final score finished up 8-0.
