Hi all,

We had a busy weekend this weekend, starting with our Seniors who travelled to Donnybrook to take on Old Welsey. We had drawn with them in Limerick in our pervious encounter and so both sides took to the pitch with a score to settle. A nerve-wracking finish saw us emerge triumphant with a bonus point in tow in what is sure to be one of our more memorable matches of the season! Find the match report here.

Our second’s match v Garryowen was of on Sunday. The lads will be looking forward to getting back to business this weekend as they take on Bruff in Bruff on Sunday.

Our thirds got back to winning ways in their semi-final match v Old Crescent in Rosbrien. The lads played a very organised game and emerged victorious with a core lien of 24-5. It was another fantastic day out for our Thirds who are now into the McInerney Cup final versus Richmond on the weekend of the 18th February.

Our ladies took to the Garryowen Green to take on Richmond for the third time this season, this time in the cup. In abysmal conditions the ladies made hard work of the first half and didn’t get into the swing of things until the second half where a brace of tries saw them come away with a win and a score line of 29-0. It was a great result from our ladies who have gone from strength to strength this season. They go on to play UL Bohs on the back pitch of Thomond park next Sunday at 3 o’clock.

We are running our usual pre-match meal before Friday Night’s Match v UL Bohs in Thomond Park. Contact Kevin to book a spot!

Our underage are running a fundraising clothes drive in Coonagh this Sunday from 10.30am! Now is the time to spring clean and send any of your unwanted items of clothing etc. to Shannon! See the below flyer for info!

The lotto for the last week showed no winners.

For the 02nd of February, the numbers drawn were; 09, 14, 18, 23 and consolation prizes of €50 went to:

Gerry O’Mahony c/o Tim O’Donoghue
Liam Maxwell c/o John Tobin
Josephine Ryan c/o Joe Cleary

Next week’s draw is for €5, 400 and will be held in Browne’s of Parteen on the 09th February.
