Coonagh is situated north of the city just off  the main Ennis road. 

 * From the city centre:
Take the main Ennis road (over Sarsfield Bridge) out of Limerick until the first roundabout. Take the 2nd exit at this roundabout and continue for about a mile to a T-junction. Turn left and continue to the end of the road (approx 1 mile) to the grounds at Coonagh.

 * From Thomond Park:
Turn right on leaving the ground (onto Cratloe Rd), take first exit at roundabout, continue to next traffic lighted junction. Turn right (onto Ennis Road). Continue to first roundabout, then (as above) take the 2nd exit at this roundabout and continue for about a mile to a T-junction. Turn left and continue to the end of the road (approx 1 mile) to the grounds at Coonagh.
